The seminar cycle, organised by INRA on the subject of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) opened with a seminar held on 04 September 2017.

Introduction 1er séminaire PAC

Four subjects were presented and discussed:

1- CAP & Environment : good intentions and false pretences, by Sophie Thoyer (Montpellier SupAgro);
2- Greening measures for permanent grasslands in the next CAP, by Jean-Louis Peyraud (INRA Bretagne-Normandie, INRA Paris, the PHASE Division and Scientific Directorate for Agriculture) and Luc Delaby (INRA Bretagne-Normandie and the PHASE Division);
3- For a truly greener CAP : rethinking Ecological Focus Areas (EFAs) for biodiversity and farming, by Clélia Sirami (INRA Toulouse-Occitanie and the SAD Division);
4- Objectives and assessment of Agri-Environmental Measures (AEMs), by Pierre Dupraz (INRA Bretagne-Normandie and the SAE2 Division).
